This report details the process of creating eight energy citizen personas, each representing one of the clusters created by clustering the GRETA multinational survey data. The personas are mainly utilised in the creation of a set of design principles for creating interfaces to energy and energy-related information that reflect different energy citizenship needs.

This report details a set of workshop activities that can be used for co-designing Community Level Indicators (CLIs) within energy communities. CLIs mean the goals that a community collectively holds for decarbonisation and how to measure progress towards goals. Co-design of CLIs serves two purposes:
1) The process may empower communities to act as energy citizens
2) The outputs may be useful in creating Community Transition Pathways: a roadmap which defines the actions a community can take to achieve a transition towards greener energy within the energy system

The report discusses both online and face-to-face versions of activities that can be easily tailored to different contexts. The co-design process is based on analysis of literature on co-design methodologies and tools, existing schemes for defining CLIs and also general business key performance indicator methodologies.

The Energy Citizenship Contracts (ECC) are voluntary agreements between different stakeholders aimed at addressing energy actions and promoting sustainable practices. They contain community-level goals, stakeholders, activities, resources designed to shift the community awareness level towards energy citizenship.

D5.4 is specifically dedicated to providing and illustrating ECCs Guidelines for implementation with relevant information on their purposes and on how to read and use them, while also explaining what benefits ECCs would carry. ECCs Guidelines intend to show the process of developing voluntary agreements in a fair and inclusive way by adopting a systemic and multiscale approach in different communities.

This deliverable presents the methodological modelling framework that aims to simplify the willingness of citizens from a specific location for energy citizenship to provide information for decision-making. For this purpose, the conceptual model proposed integrates all modelling perspectives adopted in WP4 through an analytical and operationalization approach based on Lotka-Volterra equations that are used to represent the interactions between citizens, companies, and policy makers.

As the main result of the deliverable an Energy Citizenship Actions Catalogue is presented. The catalogue comprises 22 energy citizenship actions from sustainable mobility, clean and affordable energy, circular economy and sustainable consumption and diet habits fields. The catalogue includes the calculation method proposed to understand the potential of emergence of each action, based on the analytical components that characterize them. The energy citizenship actions catalogue presented in this deliverable is the first version of how to model each energy citizenship action.

This deliverable provides guidelines for CTPs. It defines the purpose of these tools and explains how to use them. Section 1 explains the benefits of their adoption and who they are intended for. The CTPs Guidelines aim also to illustrate the process of developing transition pathways in a way that is fair and inclusive, adopting a systemic and multi-scalar approach that includes an interrelationship between top-down and bottom-up perspectives. CTPs aim to enable both policy makers and communities to define their strategies and structure fruitful relationships with the determinants of their specific contexts of application (e.g. policies, social and economic dimensions, etc.).
