Framework

A framework is a system of rules, ideas, or beliefs that give structure to an idea or notion which can then be used to further develop the idea or notion and use it in practice.

In the context of GRETA, a framework is an analytical or theoretical approach making explicit and structuring how a given task is performed. As a structural tool, it guides the research process, i.e. the collection, analysis and interpretation of data. Vice versa, a framework can also be developed through the collection, analysis and interpretation of data.
